When I drift, I frequently rely on circulation to reconfigure the pace and structure of space and time. Through states of flow, pathways open as vital arteries, traffic influx moves organically, memories and objects pass through us cyclically, all emotionally disorienting.

For this intervention, I walked and ruminated on transmission, the dread of rumors circulating, the fear of exposure. The resulting double-exposures become scientific samples I use to test: how thick is the residue of stigma? How does it stain family reputations? If pain is inherited or affects gene expressions, how does blood influence performance?
