Reading the room, the city, space is an essential metaphor of my practice.
The following are photographic interventions of subway ads focused on the many blank, alienated facial expressions of public ads. The work includes performance scores, imagining prompts given by artistic directors to their subjects and asks: What stories are we being connected to and why?
